With Nathan MacKinnon’s And Jonathan Drouin’s last season, the Halifax Mooseheads was expected to have a good season right from the start, but with a record of 23-3-0-1, this team is dominating the QMJHL. Their only completion is the surprising Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, the two teams will meet only two times this season, January 11th and January 20th, I don’t need to tell you that this is a matchup that a lot of fans are looking forward to.
With this league domination from the Mooseheads, everyone expects them to represent the QMJHL at the memorial cup.
The WinterHawks has a very good defensive game and their stats are showing it. In 27 games they allowed only 56 goals and scored 126, this is a very respectable stats coming from a junior team.
With Mac Carruth(12-1-0) and Brendan Burke in the net this team is on its way to Saskatoon for the 2013 Memorial Cup
The London Knights is another team great team in the CHL that is currently dominating their league (OHL), with 48 points at the top of the standings, no other team is even close to knocking the Knights off the first spot. The Knights are on a 15 wins streak and their showing no sign of slacking off and are on their way to a great season.
Hopefully Max Domi and Seth Griffith will keep their chemistry intact for the whole season. Max, the son off the ex NHL pest is surprisingly one of the best in the OHL and is going to be eligible for the 2013 draft so a good run in the playoffs or event better, a Memorial Cup ring this kid could easily be considered one of the top 5 draft picks for 2013.
