Vincent Lecavalier Buyout
Written by Frank Violette

With the new NHL CBA the teams that were already close to the salary cap have to make some tough decisions to lower their cap because the salary cap goes down this year. It was previously $70.2 millions and it will be $64.3 millions so this is a big contract player that they need to get rid of. And a lot of the teams will be using at least one of the 2 compliance buyouts(buyouts that won’t count on the salary cap). so here’s a list of the players that got bought out because of the new CBA.
