Moncton wildcats are on fire!

At the start of the season the Wildcats were one of the team sitting at the bottom of the QMJHL for several weeks, but now their big guns a stepping up and not only giving the Cats a chance of being part of the playoffs but also a chance to have a great run in these playoffs.

Now ranked 6th in the league the Wildcats had an amazing week, they’ve beaten the Screaming Eagles and the Drakkar and even more surprising they’ve shutout the number one team, the Halifax Mooseheads in a 3 to 0 dominating win.

With The Saulnier twin brothers and the St-Louis Blues second round pick, Dimitrij Jaskin, the Wildcats can easily be considered one of the top 5 teams in the league, not comparable to Halifax or Blainville-Boisbriand, but still one of the good QMJHL teams.

This coming week is going to be a little more relaxed for the Wildcats with only two games, Friday and Saturday. Friday they will be facing Victo’s Tigers in Moncton, with only 10 wins for the Tigers, the Wildcats can’t miss this opportunity to gain a few rank in the standings.
